As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in leading the educational program for children aged 0 to 5 years. With your strong pedagogical knowledge and passion for early childhood education, you will guide learning experiences that are intentional, inclusive, and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). You’ll work alongside a team of enthusiastic educators, contributing to a nurturing environment where children feel safe, inspired, and supported to thrive.
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will:
- Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality, play-based learning programs tailored to children’s developmental stages and individual interests.
- Develop strong, respectful relationships with children that foster their sense of belonging and well-being.
- Partner with families to support each child’s learning journey, maintaining open, ongoing communication.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to educators, supporting their professional growth and effective practice.
- Document children’s learning and development through observations, learning stories, and individual portfolios.
- Create an engaging, inclusive, and safe learning environment that supports exploration and discovery.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure alignment with the National Quality Standard (NQS), EYLF, and Atlantis’ philosophy.
- Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities.
