Welcome to Atlantis Yanchep Beach. We are a service dedicated to caring for the families in the local community that we live and work within. Our service prides itself on very low staff turnover, meaning continuity of care and the development of strong relationships between our school, Educators, children and their families.
We focus on a child-led program, allowing the natural skills and interests of each child to come to the fore and design the direction of our learning experiences. Our children love to spend time exploring outdoors and learning about the natural world around them. We also have a wonderful program of incursions and excursions that build on our in-service experiences and act as a catalyst for curiosity and further learning.

Hi, I’m Mikayla and I am your OSHC Manager at Outside School Care Yanchep beach.
Originally from New Zealand, I made the move to Australia in 2011 and soon discovered my passion for early childhood education.
I began my journey in the industry as a school-based trainee, working one day a week at Atlantis Early Learning in Yanchep while completing my studies. This hands-on experience confirmed that I had found the right path, and I’ve been dedicated to early learning ever since.I hold a Certificate III and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, and I’m currently working towards my Bachelor of Education.
Since joining the Atlantis Group in 2018, I’ve had the opportunity to grow and develop across various roles, including Educator, Room Leader, Assistant Manager, and Educational Leader. I am now proud to be the Manager at Atlantis Yanchep Beach OSHC.
What continues to inspire me in this field is the joy and curiosity children bring each day. I love seeing their eyes light up as they engage in new experiences and conversations, and it’s an honour to be someone they trust and feel safe with.
My goal is to lead and inspire others within the early childhood sector by creating high-quality, supportive environments for children, families, and educators alike.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, camping, and exploring new places through travel.
My daughter started with Atlantis when she was 2 and has always loved going, so when she started school, there was no where else I would trust to look after my child!
We have been using Atlantis at Yanchep Beach for many years now and the level of care for all my children has always been amazing. My kids all love going there and really enjoy all the fun activities during the school holidays. It makes a busy working life so much easier knowing my kids are happy and cared for every day. The Yanchep Beach team are all superstars.
