Dedicated to their purpose of providing School Readiness and School Reflection, our Yanchep Preschool Centre is the perfect choice for families seeking a smooth transition into formal schooling. At Preschool, our Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) works closely with a passionate, handpicked team of Educators to inspire curiosity, catalyse self learning and provide support around the necessary skills required in Kindy and beyond. We run two programs out of Preschool, one for children not yet in formal schooling and one for children who are. At times, we breakaway into smaller groups and others we come together in a classroom-sized group.
Our Learning Environment caters for the following ages:
2.5-years to 5-years
Our Learning Environment caters for different ages, with qualified, professional Educators with each age group to specialise in the developmental and emotional needs of that particular group.

We provide a boutique experience with modern facilities and natural, engaging play spaces with a small, dedicated team of friendly and caring Educators. We are currently rated Exceeding,
which is the best you can get.
Our learning program is inspired by Reggio Emilia and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), with a curriculum that is play-based, nature-based and designed to build upon your child’s natural curiosity and interests. By utilising your child’s strengths, skills and knowledge, they remain fully engaged and motivated to learn, reaching their full potential and gaining important life skills that will remain with them throughout their schooling life.
These are some of the most exciting years in your child’s life. A time when their curiosity peaks and they rapidly absorb information and are able to apply this new knowledge. Children begin interacting more with others, they start to form social groups and share knowledge and understanding in order to tackle complex challenges.
My name is Kathryn and I am your Atlantis Preschool Centre Manager.
I have been working in Early Childhood Education for over 8 years and I am a qualified Early Childhood Teacher.
I have a wide range of experience, having worked my way up through all levels of Early Childhood Education. I have worked in Childcare as a Room Leader, ECT, Curriculum Leader and Director across metropolitan Perth and regional WA. Prior to childcare, I have also been a Teacher's Assistant and Teacher in WA, Tasmania and internationally. I am also a qualified Swimming Teacher, and I am very excited about applying my skills and knowledge here at Atlantis Preschool.
I love supporting a child's learning journey and sharing all those magic moments. Often these may seem little but are so monumental and special to share with children. I enjoy spending my days with children, watching them grow and thrive, sharing the laughter and seeing them achieve new skills and reaching milestones. I love to encourage independent learning, providing opportunities to increase self-help skills and I am highly passionate about child-led play.
My goal is to create an exceptional service that provides high-quality care and education to children and families and achieve a supportive team environment for Educators to reach their own goals and facilitate their career growth.
I look forward to getting to know all the children and families at Atlantis Preschool.
We value each child’s voice and structure learning around their individual interests, allowing them to use their own unique learning style to explore and discover their world.
We provide meaningful experiences and deliver a unique curriculum which is designed to get the children out of "the classroom" and into the wider world around them. We provide daily diverse activities and excursions to keep your child actively learning and engaged.
Numeracy, literacy, creativity, fine and gross motor skill development,
environmental understanding, and so much more, can be learned while
participating in engaging activities. We visit the Yanchep National Park on a twice-weekly basis to encourage that all-important connection to the outdoor world and pop-in to the Two Rocks Library to foster a love of reading and learning from an early age.
