Honouring Strength: Our Partnership with Zonta House this Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day is a time for celebration, but it is also reminder that for many women, "home" isn't always the sanctuary it should be. At the heart of our community values is a commitment to standing beside those who are rebuilding their lives, which is why we are so proud of our ongoing relationship with Zonta House Refuge Association.
This year, we felt called to support their Mother’s Day Call Out.
For women escaping family and domestic violence, the journey toward safety and independence is paved with immense courage. Often, these mothers and women spend so much of their emotional and physical energy investing in the well-being of their children and families that they leave very little for themselves.
This year we reached out to the incredible families in our centres to help support this campaign and were overwhelmed with the response. From fluffy slippers, nail polish and luxurious hand creams to pretty hair accessories and ladies stationery – the families went above and beyond with their donations.
We got to handover the items to the team at Zonta House who will put together beautiful hampers for the Mother’s in their community.
For us: "Supporting Zonta House isn't just about a one-off donation; it's about acknowledging the resilience of women in our community and ensuring they know they don't have to walk the path to recovery alone."
To all the mothers and maternal figures navigating difficult times: we see your strength, and we honour your investment in the next generation.
