Job Description

We’re seeking a committed and experienced Centre Manager to join our leadership team at Tall Tree Early Learning. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a nature-inspired early childhood service grounded in the Reggio Emilia philosophy and a deep commitment to child protection, safety, and well-being. As Centre Manager, you will play a central role in leading both the educational direction and operational success of the centre. You’ll oversee day-to-day management, mentor a passionate team of educators, and foster a high-performing, inclusive, and nurturing environment.

Your Role

As a Centre Manager, you will be the heart of your service—leading your team, nurturing a strong community connection, and ensuring your centre delivers high-quality, meaningful early learning experiences every day.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage daily operations of the service, ensuring excellence across all aspects of centre performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of educators, fostering a professional and passionate workplace culture.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant standards and regulations, including the National Quality Standards (NQS) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Build strong relationships with families and the broader community, creating a welcoming and trusted environment.
  • Drive a vision of innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring your centre is a leader in early childhood education.
  • Champion child safety and wellbeing, embedding safeguarding practices into the everyday rhythm of the service.

Your Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a leadership role within an early learning or childcare setting.
  • An ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education.
  • A deep understanding of early childhood frameworks, learning through play, and nature-based education.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for creating safe, inspiring environments where children and educator’s flourish.
  • Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • Child Protection training or willingness to complete relevant courses.

Remuneration & Benefits

As a valued member of our team, you’ll enjoy:

·       Competitive salary with Above Award Wages and performance-based incentives.

·       5 weeks of annual leave to support work-life balance.

·       Up to 95% off childcare gap fees (conditions apply).

·       Generous staff appreciation budgets to reward and celebrate our team.

·       Ongoing mentoring from a supportive Centre Manager, Assistant Manager, and Educational Leader.

·       Opportunities for career growth and internal advancement.

·       Access to bespoke training and leadership development.

·       Work in a beautifully designed, Reggio-inspired centre environment that embraces nature-based learning.

·       Local, hands-on management support that values your voice.

·       Complimentary annual flu shot and discounted gym memberships.

·       Refer-a-friend program with bonus incentives.

·       Access to 100s of exclusive retail discounts for team members.
